Thai wanon (step on the body)

A unique technique performed without oil in which a trained therapist applies deep pressure to the body with her feet. This technique manipulates the deeper layers of soft tissue and helps to relieve chronic pain and relax the nervous system.

The feet play an important role in massage: the sustained pressure, aided by gravity, can stretch and lengthen the muscle fibers in the body, leading to greater flexibility. Runners often find this method useful to stabilize the knees and hips and keep them flexible.

The longer and deeper the pressure, the more lasting the effect on the body. Even after the massage has ended, the blood circulation and lymphatic system of the body continue to be stimulated. As this effect lasts for a long time, many customers report that they still feel just as relaxed hours after the massage.

These massage techniques lower cortisol levels, the main stress hormone in the body, and the positive effects on general mental health are visible.
